Inspiron 660s Motherboard

Replacement motherboard for a machine I purchased nearly 10 years ago. You have to transfer a few things on your original motherboard like WIFI, memory and CPU chip. The CPU chip and attached heat sink need to be cleaned up and new thermal compound seated between the CPU and heat sink. The whole process was done inside an hour.

CM 1312-nfi MFP Formatter Board Replacement

It is difficult to rate product quality when the reason you are buying it is due to lightning damage. This is the second time in two years that I have made this very purchase. What it is revealing to me is that this printer is vulnerable to lightning on either the side of power or through the ethernet port which is on this board. In this case, the only damage seen by lightning was in a wall socket which include an RJ-45 connector that used "punch down" wiring. The wire was blackened from the extra current that it could not carry. Other than that, this board serves its' purpose of replacing a vital part of the CM1312-nfi printer.
