Fantastic Wheels

These are FANTASTIC Porsche OEM quality wheels. I bought a set of aftermarket “tuner” wheels last month for my 997.2 and have not been happy with them. These on the other hand have Porsche part numbers on them and are of highest quality. They are about 70% cheaper than from Porsche and I wondered why. The only thing I can see is the powder coating is a little thin on the back side of the spokes so it is possible they are manufacturer “blems” and the winner is me. They look just great on the car. I am thinking about picking up a second set in case I bend or curb one down the road. Again, great wheels!!

Software requires a fair bit of trial & error to get to work.

Had to temporarily uninstall optical mouse and anything else that might have conflicted with com port #3. Error messages and help integrated into the software was not much help but the cryptic one page word document on the CD did help some. The hint was keep rebooting the computer and resolving conflicts until COM 3 could be assigned without a conflict. Had to reduce the com3 baud rate (under "file") but that takes a leap of faith. All three settings possible create an error message that I eventually just ignored and pressed on. Grammar and missing words in the software messages were initially confusing but not so much once I realized programmer was obviously not an English speaker. After a few more reboots everything started to work and once it does, software is rather easy to use and is powerful. Works flawlessly once up and running. Great price and value so these shortcomings are easy to overlook.

Great new technology.

I am building a new house and garage. Because this tool is so powerful, I don't plan on piping my new garage with compressed air like in my current one. It can do anything my pneumatic impact tools can do. Will only need air to fill tires. A little heavy but you do not need this much power most of the time so I use the smaller Milwaukee for most things.
