Good but spoilt by strap
Hat is nicely made and warm, but is let down by the chinstrap which is a double D ring fastening and very difficult to use, and I imagine impossible with cold numb fingers.

Not easy to get a natural look finish.
It looks like white chalky paint and has to be spread very thinly to avoid being like paint, at which point its hard not to get a streaky unnatural effect. It does lighten the colour of darker woods and looks like it will be durable. Much prefer the standard Polyx-Oil, which is much easier to use.
