Solid, robust, well designed
2 of 2 found this helpful Seems very well designed with a couple of very helpful features. Firstly it has two speeds - fast with slightly less power and slower with the full 7/8 tonnes - this makes it much faster when you have a lot of smaller logs. Secondly you can reduce the length the splitter head returns for smaller logs and this also speeds things up quite a bit. It has dealt easily with everything I have put in it, apart from some very knotty pieces which you could not get through with an axe anyway, but even with those I have reduced the wood around them enough to make them usable.
