Good first stage hook sharpening file
This file is best used to remove metal in the initial stage of sharpening. Follow up with. 10000 grit file and a polishing cloth to finish. I have compared the results I get with professionally finished hooks and mine compete.

Very strong but easy to move.
Very strong magnet , you could just fix it where you want and leave it , I doubt it would detach unintentionally.
