You get what you pay for - true with rear hubs!
If you want a hub you can trust regardless of the punishment, get a King. Beautiful, easy to service, lasts forever, and extremely resistant to torque and freewheel failure. The “ring drive” does away with pawls and 72 pinpoints of engagement mean an ultra strong hub with instant hook-up. Simply the best!!

These do wear out over time.
Like all Shimano replacement parts, these are excellent quality. Pulleys wear out over time and these replacements will add life to a well used derailleur assuming it is not worn out elsewhere.
