Yeadon Register of LNER Locomotives: Appendix 1: Named Engines
    13 Jan, 2022
Doesn't have everything - but almost.. so very useful
Very useful if you want to know the history of the names given to LNER engines. Could have had more information about some locomotives (such as "Great Northern"), but all in all an excellent book. The photographs are particularly good, and the descriptions of colours and lining.

Good if you want a long, plate width roof
This is a good product in several ways: It's the correct scale for 00 gauge It's substantial - not flexible or frail You can paint/colour it OK It's not too expensive BUT the big problem is simple - you can connect individual plates together fairly simply by sanding/removing the small tabs BUT ONLY in one direction: you can make a long roof any length you like, but the plates DO NOT fit together if you want to make a larger roof wider than the individual plate size. AS you can see from the product photo, you can't simply cut across the plate because of the pattern - its not in a straight line anywhere going across the plate.
