the good:
great imaging quality for your dollar, especially for taking in a great deal of detail in medium-range shots indoors or outdoors
no internal battery to go bad, and only 2 AA batteries (commonest & cheaply available) needed
a wide variety of modes and settings at your fingertips, but works anyway if you set them wrong (just not as well)
flash, focus, and optical zoom
features 1-camera 3D and 1080P
lenses store compactly behind automatic lens cover
SD slot contacts are well made
the bad:
no interchangeable lenses for it to find, unlike some higher-end models
The 3D and 1080P can't be used at the same time.
the battery door hinge is fragile

works well for me
I like [but have not verified] the amazing low power consumption. When I tested it, the water streamed nicely [out of it, when I plugged it in & looked at it], but I made no power measurements. I bought it to stir/circulate water it would be immersed in, and it seems to have more than adequate flow for the job, and being immersed in hot water did not damage it, even after many hours.
