GARDNER TACKLE DELUXE MULTI WEED RAKE

Gardner deluxe weed rake.

I had the original Gardner weed rake which has been around for a number of years. This is a much improved version.It can be cast oñ to spots to remove snags and weed. However it can also be screwed into a bank stick for closer work. I have been using it of late in match fishing to stir the bottom up on canals that are gin clear, in order to add colour to the water. The results have been interesting.

Nice but expensive.

Really good for hook sharpening. I've struggled with the file and vice type because I can do one side dead easy and not the other as you are wrong handed. This is easier as the wheel can go either way and so can sharpen both sides efficiently. Only down side is the price £30 too much I recon, but three year guarantee.

Highly impressed.

Wanted a new head torch for night fishing. Looked at these, and ordered one. Perfect for the job. Main light is very bright for setting up and packing away, but can be dimmed simply by keeping your finger on the switch. The second light is two smaller LED bulbs, which arnt as bright as the previous option and are ideal for fishing itself. There is a red option and a flashing option, but I wouldn't use these. The biggest plus point is that it's rechargable, so no costly batteries. Ive used this a few times and really pleased upto now. Would deffenetly recommend for the money.
