Outstanding Finish!!!
3 of 3 found this helpful The Paragon along with the Halcyon II is a superior way to treat the surface of a pipe to bring out the grain and character of a pipe, used per their directions for the use of the different waxes. I much prefer it to blocking up the surface with carnauba that to me ends up looking like it was " plastered on" and artificial even with careful application. Subsequent use improves the surface and I also believe it"feeds the wood" like you might with black walnut or other beautiful woods. It works well to seal the stems and improves the feel in the mouth...getting rid of the popsicle stick problem. Excellent products, use as they recommend per rusticated surfaces w/ the Halcyon II....I use a shoe brush for the plateau w/ after light application w/ toothbrush for the H-II.

Better than most for pipe smoking, but it is almost a throwaway...thus relatively expensive even at discounted prices.
Great while it lasts, then the ignition goes in a short few months.
