Over the years I’ve bought loads of thermostat - and converted some to operate according to ambient light rather than ambient temperature. The battery powered model is ideal fit this.

Good value - simple but ideal for lightweight work.
This is not a heavy-duty workstand. But I wanted it mainly to hold a mountain bike upright in storage. It's fine for that. I'm sufficiently impressed with it for the price that I've bought another for a second bike - a road bike.

Soft-close function failed after a month of light use
The soft-close function failed after a month of light use. Grease/oil seems to have leaked from both hinges. I've just replaced the seat with a different model as a result.
