Does what it should

Just the job

Not really a lot you can write about this other than it does what it says on the tin. It fits the thread on one of my rifle great yet it's very tight on the other but for the money it's great.

Not great for pistol shooting.

I bought the red dot sight for my pistol as I know vector optics are great quality and I was sick of the zero shifting on cheaper red dots. After un boxing it looked and felt like a quality bit of kit as to be expected. I mounted it on my pistol which was very easy and a really good fit. I set up my range in the garden to zero the sight and put a couple of finder shots through my pistol, that's where the happiness started to fade as when the pistol is held at arms length the dot becomes quite big and obtrusive covering the whole of a 2.5inch target which I was quite disappointed about. I moved the sight closer to my eye and when it was where it would be if mounted on a rifle the dot was small and sharp as it should be. I only use the sight for back garden plinking but if you're planning on using it for serious pistol shooting it's not great. It's better suited to a rifle. That's why it only gets 4*
