Only works with certain types
This is a high quality replacement cord. The cord itself is only about 2 feet long. This is a standard appliance cord which only will fit the Corningware Electric percolators that have a metal topped heating element. The elements which have a black plastic top can not be used with this particular cord. This is a high quality cord but I took away a couple of stars because of the marketing issues EG I bought one which didn't work with mine.

Great for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful Keep in mind what this is, an inexpensive cross slide vice. Mine came in excellent shape fairly well adjusted but covered in that grit that this type of tool from China is normally covered with. Generally speaking it's normal to need gib adjustment to get the slop out of these and there is always a fair about of slop in the lead screws. If you're looking for perfection, well you're gonna have to pay 300-400 dollars for that. THIS, well this is a high VALUE low cost cross slide vice. You could use it right out of the box, my advice, clean it, take it completely apart and clean it really well with a good mild solvent, mineral spirits or maybe just keep hitting it with light oil or WD etc, keep wiping until it's clean. If there are burrs or anything you can feel either stone it or use a granite block and scrape it in, or just clean it and leave it. Lube the sliding parts with 30 weight oil and give the rest a coat of paste wax. Adjust the gibs so there is no play, a little tight, then just barely back it off until it's smooth. If you do these things this inexpensive high value vice will perform like one twice it's price. It's never going to be perfect.
I would recommend this to anyone, for real. Very nicely made I'm thoroughly impressed.

Excellent
Super quiet, installed easily. My only issue was that the heat transfer paste was super dry so I removed it and used some arctic ice, but that's not unusual. It's a different machine now and also runs cooler.
