Very good drum sander for small work.
2 of 2 found this helpful I do a lot of work on small boxes - most dimensions under 12". Recently acquiring the Jet 10-20 drum sander has allowed me to plane figured woods easily to 3/8" and less thickness. I have made one end-grain cutting board with a 14" width using the 10-20 and running the opposite sides through the sander. Using 100 grit paper, the 10-20 left a slightly noticeable line just past the 10" width of the drum, but that noticeable line was easily sanded out by hand with 120 and higher grit. Much faster than the scraping and sanding I've been doing the past several years. I waited too long to get this machine. Good dust collection when attached to a DeWalt dust extractor.
