Garmin Forerunner 230 Colour Screen ANT+ GPS Sports Running Watch - Black/White

Great features and easy to use

I bought this watch to replace a Forerunner 210 that I’ve had for several years and I’m really pleased I chose it. It has great functionality to support both running and cycling activities and picks up the GPS signals very quickly. It is easy to synchronise with the Garmin app and also with Strava. When connected to my iPhone it shows incoming texts, calls and news flashes. It even monitors my sleep patterns. The battery life is at least a week even though I’m running at least 5 times weekly. Best of all the price is right! I can strongly recommend it.

Effective solution to a frustrating long term problem at a reasonable price.

Seems finally to have kept the squirrels at bay without resorting to a bulky expensive stand on the lawn. The birds can now feed happily without disturbance. Early scare when the clip securing the cap came open but I think this was my fault for not closing it properly. Hence I’ve given 4 stars not 5.

Impossible to untangle

This was a very disappointing purchase. I bought two rolls of netting for my peas and French beans to grow up, supported by bamboo canes looped through the holes between the netting strips. In practice this was impossible. The netting was so tightly coiled up for postage that it was impossible to spread out straight in order to run the canes through. I gave up after half an hour and had to buy more substantial plastic netting which is more rigid and works just fine. This item is not fit for purpose as advertised. Do not buy!
