Cheap, but actually worth getting.
Decently designed. Nice wide steady base. Made out of a far sturdier grade of metal than I was expecting for the price. No wobbles, or any feeling that it's a ready to collapse in a heap if you were to, you know, breathe or put any weight on it.
Even the nuts and bolts appear to be made from decent quality steel.
The only slight criticism might be the seat cushion. With just a velcro strap running left to right, it slides backwards and forwards very easily.
Not a huge problem, though. Just put a chamois cleaning leather under the cushion, Stops you sliding and it's strong enough not to get cheese-gratered by the metal seat top mesh.

I stuck an upgrade kit of Russian missile valves straight in.
The feed is from the RCA Tape Loop output on a Sony Integrated amp. (TAFE-570, even though no-one asked...)
The Sony's volume, tone and balance controls become completely ineffective. All you have is the volume control on the Little Dot.
Should you be worried?
No.
It sounds excellent, and there is now no reason for you to ruin the sound by fiddling with the treble / mid / bass controls that you should have probably left well alone in the first place.
Used with Grado SR125 headphones, because why wouldn't you?
As expected, they don't need much boot (they'd work on an iPod with a flat battery) but they now sound even better. Nice bass and mids, but without losing the crystal bats-falling-out-of-trees clear top end.
Yes, I do know about the shiny new toy placebo effect, but it has made me listen to lots more stuff, so I'm going to count that as A Good Thing.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too small to be useful
Nowhere near big enough to fit a Baritone Mouthpiece.
Maybe work on a Tenor, at a pinch
