Sturdy
This is not a particularly portable stand - the large tray-like music holder is what it is, and the rest of it is pretty chunky tubing too. That said, if you want to put it up & leave it, this is a great stand. It's solid, strong and stable. The top bit will hold pretty much any size book at any angle. The column is telescopic, and is ideal for playing from the sitting position, but will extend to a reasonable height for standing up (unless you're over 6 feet tall).
All this at a very reasonable price.
