Couldn't put it down until I had read it all.
Anyone interested in Yeovil will love this as it has in-depth stories about people as well as buildings and places. The author has researched the history of each subject and presented it in an interesting account. An excellent book to supplement the previous books by this author who is dedicated to Yeovil and its long history.

1 of 1 found this helpful As a collector of Yeovil books, I really enjoyed this one. I like to imagine myself walking about Yeovil in the time of my ancestors. The book is extremely well presented and the captions to the photographs are truly informative. Although the author has a comprehensive web site, one just loves to be able to peruse a book in the hand. if you love Yeovil, you'll love this one.
