Excellent kayak, very happy with this item, despite one manufacturing problem that was easy to fix.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Index Explorer 2-person kayak I found easy to inflate - note their instructions that its important to inflate the 3 main sections in the numerical order they advise. I found deflation is also reasonably easy. I found subsequently folding it up required some practice to achieve a good size for the bag which came with the kayak.
I found performance on the water (a river) was pleasingly good. Enjoyable and fun to paddle.
The price I feel is reasonable.
The only negative to the purchase was an initial problem fitting the skeg (i.e. fin) into its slot on the underside of the kayak. There was a bleb of hard plastic causing an obstruction making it impossible to fit, until I chiselled the protrusion off and filed down (slightly) the immediate area.
Other than that I am delighted so far (2 river trips to date) with this kayak.
