save money
The shower in our caravan was damaged by a table falling in it. We were quoted £425 to repair it with what was basically the same product as this ! Instead of using the ( supplied ) wet & dry to rough up the surface i used a barbique wire brush -- much easier ! Put paint on with a cheap hand roller cut down to 1.5" wide , did 3 coats & still paint left. All in all not difficult to do & a saving of nearly £400 !

Disapointed
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought one, put in farm at Bewdley ( near Kidderminster ) sat nav routed me ( 60ft longx10wide, 35 tons )up embankment onto abandoned farm track and on to private drive ( sat nav said i needed "special permission )Second try -- St Cyrus Scotland -was routed down a wynde ( narrow lane ) transit vans/ cars size !
Another route i use- Whitchurch to Hodnet this road was downgraded some 10+ years ago from A442 to a B road, though sat nav still shows it as the A442.Seems the claim of latest maps does not mean up to date ones.
Contancted seller and they suggested i pass it on and they would sell me another one with bluetooth ( present unit has bluetooth.)
Plugged in my wireless reversing camera -no picture on sat nav though seller lists it as being usable for this purpose.
Recontacted seller, was offered a complimentary camera, offer later withdrawn.
Handbook,i was not very enlightened the smaller pictures were just black squares, not a lot of information on the sat nav section.
What do i like about it ? -the advanced warning at half mile, quarter of a mile, and at junction, comprehensive area information ( even mountains ! )
petrol stations ( with brands ) even though some of it was out of date.

Being able to put in waypoints and plan a journey without a fight.
Would be happier if it did not have so many items and it had concentrated on being a good sat nav rather than trying to be all things to all people.
Did think of returning unit but decided to keep it-- in the glove box in case Tom-Tom packs up !
Would i recommend it -no way after the above.
Had hoped it would surpass my Tom Tom but can not trust it so back to my Tom-Tom.
If it had cost more would defiantly have sent it back.

does the job
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought to replace drawer runners that had gone faulty. Be warned though -- if bought for a new project there's NO screws included ! ( M4 screws required for drawer sides )
