Excellent picture, great value

The picture is very good indeed. There's all the usual in / out sockets that you might expect for connecting to other devices. You don't need a smart tv, you can get all sorts of things to plug in to make it a smart tv. Remote is OK, does the job, nothing fancy. I don't have a tv aerial, only a sky dish so had to use online customer support. They were very nice, tried hard, but didnt have the right answers for me. Found out that it can be done if you route satellite dish signal through your own digital recorder box. The sound on SD TV channels is not great, though. I have connected my TV up to external speakers and you will probably need to do the same. Be warned that when switching from SD tv to HD, there is a huge increase in sound levels. Although there is something in the settings which is supposed to even it out, it doesnt seem to work too well. I dont know if this is because I am running this through my PVR. It may be fine for those using an aerial. All in all I am very pleased with it and excellent value
