Focal 165 A1 is a superior replacement for Polk MM6501
1 of 15 found this helpful I researched the internet for suggestions to replace the factory speakers that came in my 2007 Honda CR-V. After ordering the Polk Audio MM6501, I had the chance to visit a boutique car audio store who convinced me to cancel those and install Focal 165 A1 speakers instead. I am extremely glad I took their advice. Comparing the two speakers in the store, the Focal have a distinct advantage in both bass response and stereo imaging, which are important to me. The big surprise is that the Focal speakers are available for less money.
Do yourself a favor, research the Focal drivers and use your ears to make your final choice.
