The removal tool makes removing the genuine filter easy.
The oil filter is an original Honda part and very good quality. The removal tool is great because it makes the job easy. Other types of removal tools will work but they are more of a fiddle. On my bike, a CBF600, I have seen a video of this tool having to be cut down with an angle grinder to fit but this is because an aftermarket filter (COF203) was fitted which was too long for the bike and nearly touched the down pipes. The implication was that the removal tool was too big. Buying the original filter removes the risk of this kind of mistake. It's easy to get a spanner on the removal tool nut. I'm not sure what purpose the threaded inside of the nut serves.
I understand this kind of removal tool will fit most motorbike oil filters and it certainly fits a Honda ST1100.

The right grease to reduce the risk of breaking off glow plugs.
By many accounts glow plugs can be difficult to remove. I think a very small amount of this grease on the threads of the new plug should make it less difficult to remove when the time comes. Plugs are only torqued to about 15nm which is very little. If you put this grease on the threads thus reducing resistance, there is the possibility of tightening the plug more than you think and you should probably use a torque wrench set to very slightly less than 15nm to ensure you don't overdo it.
Glow plug manufacturers recommend using (the correct) grease on plug threads to assist sealing and removal. This grease gives me the confidence that the plug probably can be removed again without it shearing off.
It's a small tube but with sparing use it should last the average home mechanic about 400 years!

BlueSpot Bleeding Kit - poor quality tyre connector.
2 of 2 found this helpful The BlueSpot Bleeding Kit sent to me had a very poor quality tyre connector which had no chance of making a seal on the tyre valve. It was not even close to working. There appeared to be almost no inner rubber sleeve to compress onto the valve. The whole connector was wobbly and badly made.
The rest of the bleeder looked good quality but I was unable to test whether it leaked at its other joints which is the weakness of these products.
It may be a good product but on my experience I could not recommend it.
