Almost perfect

- it’s excellent! That said it can only seem to charge 4 iPads at any one time so I can’t charge my phone as well. Would’ve given it 5 stars if I could use more than half of the available ports at once.
**Edit: now that I’ve owned it for I a while I will say that it’s still great! Love the fact that is auto senses the power required to charge ie when the device is very low on battery it charges with more power. The power slowly decreases until battery is charged 100%, which it then changes to trickle charge it no charge to prevent over-charging.
HOWEVER, it’s worth mentioning that 40 watts isn’t enough when you have a household with many devices being charged at the same time. I can charge up to 4 iPads when their batteries are above say 50%. If they’re less than that the charger tries to charge at a higher level and peaks out (shuts down). I’d rather that it just adjusted the power lower and not shut down. To make use of all 8 ports you really need 60 watts. Still recommended though.
