The best screen version of the books available
These two sets are the finest adaptations of the books I know. Alec Guinness gives the greatest performance imaginable especially in 'the burning ot tricky Tony' in Smiley's People, he is, quite simply George Smiley.

Well designed, seems efficient
The internal configuration is excellent - very flexible for loading. It is also very quiet in operation. Finally I like the fact that the front panel reaches the floor so no need to manufacture a kick plate to keep it in line and tidy with the rest of the kitchen.

Good things in tiny packages!
This is the second player I have purchased - the first being a normal player and faulty (returned and refunded without a problem) which is why I was so surprised and delighted with the miniscule dimensions of this Apple player. It is truly small, but the sound quality of this little player is excellent and the accompanying earphones are comfortable and give an excellent sound.
On the down side in order to put your music onto the player you must use the Apple software - it is easy to download and not difficult to get to grips with, but if you were without an internet connection it could cause something of a problem as it is not supplied on the player (there would be plenty of space given the 2 GB memory).
It is a small gripe and I am very happy with my purchase and the battery life - it makes long distance train or plane travel much more enjoyable.
