Much easier to mount and wire up - if your existing cable is long enough
1 of 1 found this helpful The Crabtree shower switch is a much better design than the standard “wire the switch before pushing on to the mounting box” style. This one you fix to the ceiling so you have both hands for getting the wires into the terminals.
A couple of things to watch for though. The outer sheathing has to be stripped back to around 110mm which is a fair bit more than needed to fit a standard switch. If you can’t pull more through the ceiling you will have to run another cable. I found that out the hard way! Secondly - If the mounting position is close to a wall make sure you can reach all terminal screws with a screwdriver when in situ.

Strimmer Fuel Pipe
I originally contacted my strimmer' manufacturer for a replacement only to be told that the fuel pipe wasn't supplied by itself so I would need to replace the fuel tank as well. I took a chance and bought this. It was exactly the same as the one to be replaced. It took me about ten minutes to complete the job - literally one out one in.
