Simply stunning
This model is absolutely gorgeous, a must for any collector, and defiantly a high point for Hornby - before they replaced the articulated rear wheels with the awful fixed versions on all their later models. Although, I have to admit mine is purely a static model as I don't have a layout to run it on, so can't comment on the dynamic performance. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this model.

One of Hornby's best from the old school.
A really beautiful locomotive from the sweet spot of the 'super detailed' era with tender drive and before they came out with the hideous fixed pony truck versions. Limited addition (1000 off) and unique in the Hornby range. Highly recommended.

Makes Nest installation a lot easier.
This is great way to get your Nest thermostat working without having to drill holes in your walls. I initially only bought it to test out the system before fixing to the wall, however, have since decided to keep the thermostat on the stand as it works so well.
