The unit is of excellent quality, as one might expect with an MK product
The switch is a valuable feature. A tool can be electrically isolated without having to unplug it, which therefore reduces the chance of its plug becoming dirty, wet or damaged.
Compared with earlier models of weatherproof socket (eg earlier Diall, although Dialls have recently become much larger and rather clumsy), this model seems unnecessarily large. It projects more than desirable from the supporting wall; important when used in an historic architectural setting where modern fittings are visually very noticeable.
I would welcome a choice of colour finish. Is it possible to make these units in a browner colour? Stone is generally not actually grey; ours is a warm yellowy brown so as usual I shall have to overpaint the socket to match the stonework. Nevertheless I will have confidence in its electrical and mechanical properties.

Essential rubbers for Pentel propelling pencils
It is exactly what I wanted, but more importantly, and irritatingly - Pentel take note - this item is lacking from the stationers' stands that sell the propelling pencils which the rubbers fit. You can buy spare leads but not rubbers.
