3.5inch SATA HDD Case
The item turns up without any instructions, wrapped in foam and tied with an elastic band. The lack of instructions is not a huge problem but this might help.
1. The lead really has an American plug. Fortunately I have a lot of spare euro leads with British plugs so it wasn't a problem for me.
2. The case is metal and looks very nice actually. The two end caps are plastic and held in place with clips. I used a small Torx screwdriver to push in the pins so I could get at the content.
3. Inside we have the shortest USB 2 lead ever. Not a problem as it will be sitting very close to the unit it's going to be plugged into, but a consideration all the same. Also inside are two plastic plates with pins on. This had me perplexed at first, but then I noticed that the gap between the pins is the same as the shortest distance between screw holes on the HDD. These plates are there to ensure that the HDD does not rattle around in the box and keeps the HDD spaced away from the box itself (presumably for airflow).
4. The rear plate has the power connector and USB socket as well as an on/off switch. Inside there are the connectors for SATA and SATA Power. The power lead is longer than the signal lead so it will need to be folded up to get the plate to snap in once you've attached and inserted the drive.
5. IT IS TIGHT. Since you don't want the drive rattling around this is a good thing, but it is quite an effort to get the drive to the end.
Conclusion: Once assembled it feels solid and it works. I think an option for a lead with a British plug would be useful, and they could probably shorten the internal SATA power lead a little, but currently I am rather happy with it.

Good lens
Great lens, very fast to focus. It's not heavy, but it is rather long and so it does weight the camera down, but then it does come with a lens mounted tripod mount.
