Insulin Case cooler
I bought this to use for keeping snacks cool whilst hiking. It will hold around 4 snack bars and some dried fruit to last for around 4 days. It is compact and not too large to take up too much valuable space in a ruck sack. It comes without the ice packs,and trying to buy these seperately that fit exactly is proving very difficult indeed. The cases that come withe ice packs included are ridiculously expensive. I did manage to find mini Thermos ice packs that come in two's that fit perfectly at £2.50 for the pair,so my total purchase came to under £10,half the cost of the complete package advertised. It is best to use just the one ice pack for snacks as it will keep things cool enough and you can fit more snacks in.I then take the other ice pack with me on Treks and freeze the other one at my overnight accommodation,ready for the next day. Oh! by the way,you do need to take the insulin equipment pouch out to do this. Overall quality is excellent,well made, and goodvalue for money. Dave from Devon.
