The best Amp I own hands down
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a Rotel 1080 200x2 a B@k 200X2 and other assorted amplifiers and this Sony is unbelievable
in comparison. When I purchased the amplifier I had no idea what I had. I bought from the original owner than new I was an audio nut and told my mom he would like someone that would appreciate it having it. At 55lb and two huge Vu Meters on the front it looks strange this is a big amp.
When I got it to my test room and started to mess with it the power and clarity was unbelievable no clipping this is a unbelievable amplifier if you find one buy it you have a chance to own Sony's masterpiece. It will run in mono mode at 650 so with two of these it would be unreal. I am using a Rotel RSP-1098 Pre amp and a pair of B&W 683 and the power if you like you can feel, with HD music it is clean an ever element of the music comes threw beautifully
