A clear view.
Billy Bragg's incisive book clears the fog to clarify many of the major issues faced by the people of today's unstable world. He gives a clear-eyed view of the problems of modern politics, the rise of populism, the failure of capitalism and globalism to improve the lives of the wider population. Bringing in Brexit and the growing climatic and ecological crises, the writer explains how the notion of freedom has become debased by the neglect of responsibility and accountability, and how a renewed, three-dimensional freedom could offer us all a better future.

A good television set.
This is a great monitor-style television, at a very reasonable price. The picture quality is very good, and the stereo sound is noticeably better than our last set.
Very easy to connect to our Humax box and aerial. Easy to tune to local Freeview channels.
A good-looking unit, and although a 28" screen, its overall size is slightly smaller than our old 26" flat screen tv.
One small issue - there is no scart socket, so I haven't yet worked out how to connect our old DVD player, or if that will be possible.

Just what we needed!
While this beachball globe is fun and inexpensive, it's also reasonably accurate and gives the position of the world's majot cities. My two sons are working thousands of miles away from our home, and we keep the globe handy to have some idea where they are. Our home is small, but this lightweight beachball doesn't get in the way of everyday life.
