I "rated the item" at 3*, as I have not yet used this guide. eBay's policy does not allow feedback without a star rating for the product, so I leave 3* for any book not yet read. eBay trashed older reviews and this is no substitute; we now have a "system" that wants an instant yet uneditable review. The book arrived relatively quickly, is in a good readable condition, and I am more than happy with my purchase. Please try not to be so censorious about SUSSEX, they aren't all perverts.Many thanks.

Comfortable and functional
Comfortable in my (largish) hand and not getting the cramping issues I have had on occasion. Sightly bulky, but that is a necessary part of its design. Useful stylus that works well on tablet and phone. Not yet tried to source refills but should be do-able.

More than just a coffee table book
Very specific techniques for mending and maintaining your clothes. Very clearly and yet attractively presented.
This may be Mending 101 and, of course, there is always the rejoinder that it's all been covered on YouTube, but I value this book in tandem with that material. And it seems a better more accessible account than other beginner texts that I've seen which focus on "inspiration" through colour pictures.
Particularly interested in the hand sewing section at the moment, but there's enough in here to take me further than immediate interests.
