the old version of these had a cable that would allow you to actually look for your records(coiled cable that would extend to about 10 ft) ...the cable on the new ones is about 2ft long and doesn't stretch ,means you have to take your headphones of to even turn round ,so no use at all for dj'n ,also they come with a mini jack socket and no adapter ...so again virtually no use whatsoever for a dj mixers headphone socket ....all in all i wish i had read the product description a bit more ,because these are useless for my purposes and ill have to buy some other version ...or an adapter plug and an extension cable ...bit of a pain ...**dj style** does not mean they are any use for dj'n with
