Outrageous satire and humor, not for the easily offended.
Unusual editing style leads viewer through various mini sub-plots, connecting them via recurring appearances, culminating in final realization point of "the Onion News absurdity of society concept". Simulated "stuffed shirt" movie critic segments drive home the self deprecating overall attitude that this viewer enjoyed. Cameos by some famous personalities makes one wonder "how did they get these artists to sign up for these roles".
This movie looks sarcastically at views regarding race, sex, homophobia, and the overall pathetic advertising industry as it relates to the United States citizens' tendency to believe anything the media says.
The "unknown" character actor parts are very well done. Where did they find these folks? Pretty darn high production values, especially simulations of television commercials, news anchor interviews and superior Brittney Spears music renditions, mocking the style of sex laced innuendo tunes, found in all that type of teen pulp fodder.
Fans of the Airplane/Naked Gun movies, or South Park/Family Guy series will probably not be offended, and should get some laughs (of a new variety) from viewing this movie.
I enjoyed this "low brow humor" movie. I had to watch it a few times in a row.
