New and Improved

Just received my brand new Cuisinart chopping blade. This replaces the blade in a Cuisinart I’ve had for probably 20 years. I noticed a crack in the base and decided to replace it. The new replacement has changed the design in that the blade is no longer riveted to the base but rather molded in. The blade thickness seems to be the same, but beware, it is factory sharp- way more than my old one.
