Choral music for Christmas by a composer who deserves to be better known than he is.

A must for anyone who loves classical music at Christmas but who may be looking for something a little different. Old favourites such as Adam Lay y-Bounden and Bethlehem Down are here but there are so many other gems too, all beautifully sung and immaculately recorded.

19th-century Russian salon music. Rubinstein was no Tchaikovsky, but it's an attractive set of piano pieces, even so.

Sleeve, cover and disc all in very good condition and the CD plays without a hitch.
