Excellent book

Having actually been involved in three of the incidents described in this book during my service in the Met 1975 - 2005 I can state that it is informative , entertaining and accurate with regard to attitudes towards the use of firearms in 'the job' The writer talks about policies and attitudes which sometimes can hardly be believed .He doesn't give his personal opinion a lot of times.. he just relates an incident and then informs us of FACTS ... so that we can make up our own minds ..... such as the amount firearms are authorised each year ... and how many times police actually fire a shot . After reading this , read Tony Longs book about his ordeals as a firearms officer . Both books go well together .

I bought this as I was having issues with my number plate light on my Rover classic car .. Got the problem sorted out ... so this was spare .. Great little light .. so I had it wired into the switches on the doors ... so that now when you open the door the drivers foot well lights up ! Provided with a handy adhesive backing . Stuck it on the bulkhead above the pedals .... invisible . I've just ordered another one for the passenger side
