Incredibly useful
I have wanted one of these for about 18 months, but it's pricey, no matter where you look for it. I compared this to the one listed at Cookson Gold; but the reviews for the one at Cooksons suggested that they were sourcing theirs from somewhere with inaccurate machining.
There is no point in buying a precise angle kit if the angles are off.
I'm very happy with it. I have used it to make equilateral triangles from round wire, and I've been able to get corners so pointy I cold put an eye out. I haven't grasped the point to the bit of wire and extra grip knobs for a gauge, so I 've simply taken those off, to make the whole piece a bit easier to manage. Now my only struggle is with calculating the angles needed, not in achieving these angles!!

excellent
Excellent, I find it keeps for longer than a year, but it gives it's best impressions if moulds are made promptly after opening the packages.

Excellent value, very sturdy
I'm using this for my Canon EOS 250 DSLR. I have a couple of standard lenses - EF-S 15-55 f/3.5-5.6 III and EF50mm f/1.8 STM. I was concerned that the longer lens might overbalance the tripod, but it's very secure. I'm really pleased with how sturdy this feels and also how low it will sit on my work bench.
The only slight flaw is that it doesn't have a quick release head, so I can't quickly switch the camera between this tripod and my standard one - but it does clearly say this in the specifications.
