HD fine but has issues.
It found all the HD channels, the picture was fine and it recorded programs fine. However, it automatically switched subtitles back on despite switching them off on the handset and in the Config menu. Recording a program was difficult as it did not propagate the recording fields when you selected the program you wanted to schedule. You had to remember the Start/Stop times and channel nos and enter them by hand. Even my old August unit which it was replacing could manage that. Fast forwarding a recorded program too fast threw it into a meltdown and I had to power the unit off. So, if you just want to look at HD channels and put up with its ambiguities, it may be OK for you but I would not recommend it.
