Good Buy!
The chip is a bit delicate and there is no way to buy just the chip. The price for the entire kit is so low that it is worth it to just buy the kit for the chip.

Fun and historical unit easy to make and works well.
2 of 3 found this helpful Works as advertised but be sure to insulate and dress the leads properly or you will get arcing between the primary and secondary. The unit will tell you if you need to dress the leads better. A very nice unit, my brother has one on order on my recommendation.
