Affordable but needs slightly better engineering
1 of 1 found this helpful The articulating wall mount came packaged with screws that I thought were too small to hold the mount and monitor. When fastening the unit to the wall. one of the screw heads twisted off so I replaced them with bigger wood screws.
The 12 inch wide metal bracket that mounts to the wall should be at least 16 inches wide so that it can be fastened to two framing studs inside the wall. Fastening one side to the drywall offers little support.
Mine was missing the instruction manual but after looking at the different pieces and the online pictures, I was able to figure how to assemble and mount it on the wall.
If it came with a wider wall bracket and beefer screws I would recommend this unit. The material and quality of the unit is very good.

Good idea, bad quality
Having a camera that lasts a long time on one set of batteries is great, but the quality of the pictures are poor. The picture quality is especially bad in contrasty situations. There is not an adjustment for exposure and this camera will overexpose in contrasty situations. In general the detail in all the pictures are not great. The blacks are especially muddy. I sent pictures with these problems to Wingscapes and they said that the pictures looked fine.
