NCE (HO SCALE) D13SR 10 PACK 4 FUNCTION DECODER - BRAND NEW - MINT

Economy DCC decoder...

I am converting my fleet of HO locomotives to DCC. I would like to have as many as I can converted with basic DCC control for motor and lighting. I have many Athearn Blue Box and older Proto 2000 locomotive. With some of my my more detailed locomotives, I am adding a more expensive decoder with sound. For roughly the price of one sound decoder this package allows me to equip 10 locomotives with DCC. While I consider this a basic decoder, it has good lighting effects and motor control. I found this to be a great value. This decoder must be hard wired into a locomotive. There is a model available with a connector harness, I will probably buy this next time. I test my decoders with a MRC decoder doctor before testing. I have an 8 pin NMRA connector wired to a terminal strip for connecting the decoders under test. This way I know the decoder worked before I connected it to the model. Although this decoder does not have a harness or connector, it is not difficult to desolder the wires from the decoder and solder in another decoder or add a male 9 pin JST connector for a decoder with a connector on it.

Works perfectly

This remote works perfectly with my Vizio TV. Unexpectedly it fix a problem with the remote needing to held a just the right angle to work. The new remote works perfectly, like you would expect.

Great value for 100's of people...

Ordered these because of the great price. I like them and it is nice to have lots of people to place on the layout. The people look a little small next to other vendor's people. I knew that might be the case when buying as these are 1:100 scale and HO is 1:87 scale, but looks good representing smaller people or look normal size when used together. These are a great value and will buy again. Thanks!
