Small and fast
I was expecting it to be bigger - the usual roughly 50x20x8mm. It is tiny(43x14x4) but is very fast and runs only just warm, even when swapping lots of data. It weighs almost nothing so is ideal for the lanyard I tied on to keep it around my neck when out (backup no 4 of life's work).
It also looked as though the black handle part swings over to protect the end - it doesn't and I fitted the end from a lesser sized old USB stick: not having one could lead to dirt getting into the connection.
Apart from that one omission I find it an excellent big capacity USB drive & would reccommend it to anyone.

Good value, works well, easy to fit.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had mine for a while now. It mounts easily with its suction pad and is small enough to fit just so - I can have it hidden from my view by the rear view mirror. This is important because we are breaking the law if anything obstructs our windscreen.
The film quality is good in most lights but it doesn't have night vision. It works very well and its handy to be able to remove it from its base. You can take it inside and USB it to a PC or remove the SD card and do it that way.
Minor drawbacks - it often protects a segment if driving over a road lump or similar and when handling it, the on/off button is so placed that it can easily be triggered. Apart from that its a great small cam.

Definitely worth trying sliders instead of rollers
My Sym Joyride (small) maxi-scooter never seems to get much life out of rollers. it is not driven hard or overly long but they soon develop the dreaded flat spot and small notches.
A good look at the variator shows a clue - think about it - they will of course roll outward with centrifugal force BUT they are not just touching the "fruit bowl" part: they also have to move against and push open the "roof" part. That would have them rotate the opposite way: so what they do is slide mostly and maybe rotate a bit as well.
These slider thingys push against the "roof" and slide outward with no attempt to rotate. The broad sliding area means they can't dig in and harm themselves. (for good measure I carefully made my "roof" edges ultra-smooth with a needle file - nothing to catch on them now).
So far so (very) good. I have driven with them for a while, stripped the variator down to check them. They are super smooth and responsive and I expect a more realistic life from them too - win-win!
