A ROBUST AND USEFUL TOOL
1 of 1 found this helpful Not only is the tool well made but it is even better than the specification in the eBay site and the actual card that comes with it. Its range is 6 to 70 mm and not 16 to 68 mm as specified also on the tool itself. Besides, it is shorter by 30% over the 300 mm. It is a whopping 10 mm shorter making, it at 200mm, a very useful tool to use beneath sinks in cramped places. These shortcomings do not make the tool inferior but I reckon it would affect a potential buyer especially with the overall length of the wrench. At 200 mm it is far better and and attractive. So I recommend and update to the listing.
What impressed me most is the positiveness of the moving jaw travel with very little if noticeable movement or chatter even at 70mm extension. Well done !

A Good Buy
Upon arrival (it took some four weeks to arrive in Malta, Europe) I was very anxious to check the item. Unfortunately, nearly all the circlips excluding the larger size were intermingled necessitating sorting them out and replacing into their compartments. At this stage I noticed that the container did not have the sheet displaying the sizes as shown on the eBay page. I had to do this also as I was sure that the items might get mixed up again. This did the trick. During the sorting and placing back into the relative size compartment the quantity of 20pcs ea. was faithfully kept and the only flaw I found during this exercise was that two items were clipped badly on the outside. This is an expected flaw in the punching out of washers or circlips from sheet metal when this is not correctly aligned in the press or movement when the dies are hitting the plate in the press. A quality control problem but at 1% I consider this passable considering the price. I hope the Stainless Steel attributes and quality of the metal does not deteriorate with time beyond the requirement of 304 Stainless Steel.

Plastic and lacks quality
This item was originally sold to me as part of a Bathroom Suite by a local distributor and after 8 years it developed a leak at the top assembly where the head unit joins the column that was very difficult to identify. The replacement was not that easy to source and even more difficult to install. Eventually I got around it. The UK company was helpful in making sure I got the right version for the pressure of my water mains supply and although postage was very expensive it turned out to be the best option available . I recommend the supplier but not the product.
