Cheap cooler that achieves great cooling
2 of 2 found this helpful I purchased this as an experiment to see if a cheap cooler could do the job and i was very impressed. The cooler is well made and all the parts fit well. The only drawback i found was the surface finish of the contact area was quite rough. I smoothed this down with some 600grit then 1200grit sand paper before installation. This cooler is now installed on my i7 4770k running a modest overclock of 4.1ghz and the idle temps are around 36c and load temps in the early 40's. With this small amount of prep this £11 cooler is performing as well as a £40 cooler.
