Worth the extra cost.
MSR guardian is expensive. But other filters of lessor cost do not meet the build quality, flow rate or water purity levels. if you need a good product there are few options. This or the also expensive Katadyn Pocket (plus iodine or chem tabs) is what you buy. I have bought used and broke the rest of the lower tier products. Hiker pro iodine matrix is not shelf stable and leaks out. So back to chem tabs.
Flow rate of this unit, MSR guardian makes it effective for a small group or whole family. ongoing continuous 10% back flush is an awesome feature.
10,000 liter filter life compared to Hiker and Hike Pro 750-1150 liters units makes up for cost alone. you would have to buy 8 to 14 filters for the hiker/Pro at $50 each and for that cost you could have one or two more MSR Guardians.

Excellent product but the CRKT Minimalist Wharncliffe is better all around
Really good quality, l
ike a mini CRKT Hissatsu.
I do have a few niggles to suggest to improve it.
Handle is about one finger width too short for sure drawing from sheath. I say this because the kydex sheath covers part when you really which your hand was grasping on draw.
The lanyard about one inch too short for belt attachment for draw style demonstrated by designer of knife. ( but anyone can remedy that w paracord)
Its a shank. but it can also be used as a small tool. However in the small knife tool category, my go-to item is the CRKT Minimalist Wharncliffe.
This is more of a last ditch shank.
in this role the KaBar TDI may also be better, but the TDI is an open carry, duty rig item.
But this Obake knife is smaller and more discrete and can be carried in the pocket on the belt lanyard so is much better for this role if you need the knife to be discretely carried.
Worth having this Obake and the CRKT minimalist on you at all times, anywhere in the world where blade length is restricted to 6 cm.
including two photos to compare the Obaki to the minimalist Wharncliffe
un-sheathed they do have about the same handle length, and the Obaki has a longer blade, but the sheathed photo shows clearly how much short the Obaki handle is when sheathed. You can really only get two fingers on the Obaki for the draw stroke.
That is, IMHO, the only fatal flaw to the Obaki as a last ditch emergency defense tool.
I am much more confident about getting my hand on the CRKT Minimalist grip, despite less blade length.
But as a shank, as in, in offensive deployment where you have a couple seconds to think about how you are draw grasping ( and then re-grasping once acquired), its a good item.

good for your .22
compared to other scopes its not very good. 1. red or green or blue dot never bright enough to be visible in daylight. very thick reticle, seems distracting
range of magnification does not match markers on the adjusting bezel, you actually adjust through bezel markers 2-4. field of view at lowest magnification smaller than other 1-4x 24mm scopes have
if you budget is really tight this thing works ok. just keep your expectations of it low and you will be not too disappointed. for the cost the cantilever mount and red dot are work $45 buts separately so is it a $55 scope? it would be if the brightness was visible during full daylight. other wise any scope w/o illumination would be just as good.
