Makita 5.0 amp 18v battery - Lasts a long time
The new 5.0 amp battery is great to work with as It lasts much longer than your old 3 and 4 amp batteries. It's only a little bigger and heavier, which is a great trade-off! The new 5.0 batteries even have a charge meter on the back that helps keep you from getting stuck with a dead battery in the middle of a job. Makita makes great stuff, period.
