Worked to keep one of our cats from clawing a chair. Did require repeated applications.

Good for cold weather motorcycle riding
Kept my feet warm while riding my motorcycle in 40's temps. Battery is a bit bulky but socks are long enough so that the battery is above the top of the boot. Like the remote control feature.

Practical instruction on roof framing
Written like a text book but you can pick out the parts you need. Good instructions for everything from simple to complex roofs. Uses trig but explains it well. If you are more familiar with trig than roofs (like me) this is the book to buy. I find that approach more straightforward than using tables for everything. Recommended by Fine Homebuilding back in the 80's.
