my phone had a flaw
1 of 1 found this helpful if phone didn't have this weird flaw, it would be a great phone. and i'm sure the defect is not common, or one would read about it. but my phone repeatedly determined, incorrectly, that the battery was near zero and shut down. it of course could not be restarted without recharging. but when connected to the recharger, in car or at office, it would register 2% charge for one second and then jump to 35% or 45%, etc once it realized the battery had lots of reserve power. in effect, phone would function for only about 3 to 4 hours. sent it back. debating next decision.

worked fine for a few weeks...then would not connect to network or wifi.
disappointing experience. worked for only a few weeks. first, occasionally would not recognize cell network. then, wouldn't make calls, but would issue a pop-up telling me to turn off airplane mode. [but of course airplane mode was off]. then, nothing. no text, no phone, no internet. t-mobile store tried replacing sim card, but that didn't help. they told me phone needed to be replaced. reliability is key, and this phone didn't have it. worse, for LG, my prior phone was the v-10 that kept shutting down because it 'thought' the battery was down to 2%, but once i plugged the phone into the charger, it was clear that battery was more than half charged. zero for two with LG.
